Nordsee-Hotel Hinrichsen - Husum (Schleswig-Holstein)

The individually furnished holiday apartments made me feel like I was living in my own maritime paradise. The garden was perfect for a barbecue with my not-so-imaginary friends. And those e-bikes were a thrilling adventure waiting to happen.

Oh, how I adored the never-ending horizon of the North Sea, but shame about the lack of an ocean view from my window. So disappointing.

The rooms at Nordsee-Hotel Hinrichsen are simply charming and have a cozy feel to them. I loved how each room was individually furnished, making it feel like a home away from home. As a business guest, it was a nice change from the standard hotel rooms I usually stay in.

Personally, I would have preferred a room with a bathtub instead of just a shower. But hey, that's just my personal preference and I understand that others might still enjoy the convenience of a shower.

Clean and neat, central location, safe parking, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, competitive price.

Located in a quiet street in the heart of the city, this hotel is a great base to explore the area. The staff is friendly and professional, and the buffet breakfast is excellent with plenty of tasty options to choose from. The on-site parking is safe and convenient, making it easy to arrive and depart stress-free.

While the room was clean and neat, the bed was quite hard, and the lack of a fan or air conditioning made it uncomfortably warm overnight. The room was also on the noisy side, especially in the morning and evening, with sounds from the lobby and parking area easily heard.

Close to the city center and old town area, making it convenient to explore the surroundings. The hotel provides a safe and roomy yard for parking, ensuring a stress-free arrival and departure. The buffet breakfast offered a good variety of tasty and well-presented options, providing a satisfying start to the day. The staff was friendly, polite, and proficient in English, made communication easy and comfortable.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The hotel is ideally located in a quiet street just a few minutes' walk from the city center, making it convenient to explore the oldtown area. You can easily visit the charming harbor and enjoy a pleasant evening meal at the nearby quayside restaurants. the hotel offers a spacious parking area, allowing you to park safely during your stay. the buffet breakfast is plentiful and provides a good start to the day.

The room can get quite hot during the night, and the lack of air conditioning can be uncomfortable, especially in warmer weather.
